John Groves is one of the leaders at Hope Church Winchester with a national and international audience built over many years. He was looking for a website to house a growing library of content and resources with eCommerce functionality for online book sales.

John loves reading old books and writing by hand so we developed a handwritten style logo and chose a classic serif headline font to display this part of his personality. The logo and fonts were then complimented through natural colours and scenic photography.

The website originated around a blog format, blending elegant and classic styling with a relaxed and personal feel. Large hero banners where used to create impact with a prominent twitter feed. A Google calendar with John’s whereabouts was integrated, along with Mailchimp email subscription and a contact form to reduce spam. In addition we setup and branded a new facebook page and mailchimp account with email templates which managed on John’s behalf along with his website.
